When people talk about the Law of Attraction (LOA), they generally focus on things like vision boards, affirmations, and positive thinking. And yes, those things are part of the LOA, and they do work.
But they don’t work alone.
They don’t work without “the missing piece”—the piece people don’t talk about.
What is it?
Not just any action, but purpose-driven action taken while you’re in the right frame of mind.
The Universe can only do so much. You have to meet it halfway—in this case, you do so by taking purpose-driven action.
Whether you want to manifest money, love, or better health (the LOA is at work in every area of your life), you must take purpose-driven action to create the results you desire.
Not only that, but you must take that action at the right time.
How do you know when that right time is?
Here’s the bottom line:
You must FEEL good before you take action. You must feel the feeling before you can manifest the experience.
Let’s talk about what that means, and why it’s so important.
One of my favorite LOA books, Money, and the Law of Attraction, states: “Nothing is more important than that you feel good. For when you feel good, you are in harmony with your greatest intent.”
Many people believe that, in order to achieve what we want, we must work hard. We must struggle. But that is not the case.
Yes, struggle helps us define what we want, but it also creates more struggle. Because as you know, the LOA is always at work. You are always manifesting.
So when you feel like you’re in a struggle, you create more struggle.
And, as this Money, and the Law of Attraction book says, “Until you release the feeling of struggle, what you desire cannot come into your experience.”
Now, let me tell you, I get struggle. I used to be a fighter. I grew up in a violent neighborhood where fighting was the norm. But fighting only gets you so far. You can’t feel good when you’re always fighting, and you definitely can’t release the feeling of struggle in order to receive what you want.
To clarify, this isn’t about “faking it ‘til you make it.”
It’s about getting into a positive mindset before you take action.
You don’t wait for a positive mindset to come to you; you create the positive feeling and then you take action (because in every single moment, you get to choose how you feel).
Here’s a quick example from my own life:
Right now, I’m training to compete in the sport of bodybuilding, which I haven’t done in three-and-a-half years. I decided to return back to the stage because I wanted to set a bigger goal for myself—to go pro! Whenever I have a big goal like this, it helps me uplevel in all areas of my life.
It’s also an opportunity for me to see (again) how, when I focus my vision and my thoughts in a certain way, I can create amazing things.
So when I’m training, I think about it, and I talk about it … and I don’t take action until I feel good about it. I don’t set out to compete when I’m in a place of, “Oh my God, I’m afraid. What are people going to think of me? I don’t want to be judged,” or when I’m in a place of judging the process.
Because those thoughts and feelings create those experiences—they make the process harder.
And even if I get into a negative state (yes, it happens even to experienced manifestors!), I get myself out of it before I take action.
I create the positive feeling and then I take action.
I feel the feeling of being onstage, of being and looking exactly the way I want to be up there, feeling healthy and shining and being in first place.
I used that exact same process to manifest my husband, to becoming a multiple six-figure, going on seven-figure earner, and to create the lifestyle we have.
Once I hooked into the positive feeling around those things, and I started to take action to get there, it just started happening.
So take a moment and think about the result you want to create. Think about the feeling behind it.
Whether it’s feeling healthy and fit, or feeling the deep love of your soulmate, or feeling strong as you cross that finish line, or feeling financial abundance as your bank account balance increases …
Step into that feeling, feel it, soak it up!
And then take action.
When you do, you manifest on purpose. You have control over what you create. And you create exactly what you want and intend to.
