No matter what you’re doing in your life creating consistency is key!

If you want to succeed, never stop working on what you are trying to create, build, change, or manifest in your life.

One of the greatest lessons I learned is consistency and commitment was when I was competing in bikini physique competitions and in the process of leveling myself up and getting even better I hired a new coach to compete in a more competitive divine. My focus and aspirations changed. I went from an entree level organization to the most popular and competitive organization in the world.

However, I had already signed up for a competition in the other organization, and while my new coach was preparing me for a competition that was a much higher level and I told him about the other show and let him know I wasn’t going to do that one because I was now in THIS competition and was fully committed to it.

That was a good move, right? Full commitment to my new competition and going full speed ahead! No reason to waste my time on the other one, because it was no longer the level or organization I was competing in.

Sounded logical to me. But here’s what…

That day I learned a lesson that resonated with me then, and STILL resonates with me. My coach reminded me that I absolutely MUST continue in the other competition because it’s extremely important to always follow through with what you start.

It doesn’t matter what it is, when you sign up or commit to something you go forward all the way, and finish what you start. Otherwise, you are training yourself to give up right before the finish line, and to downgrade your commitments. When you say you are going to do something, you follow through! There are always things you will learn and experiences to be had when you do.

In fact, by going through with that competition I planned to bail on, we ended up discovering something about my body’s response to some of the dietary changes we made, that actually helped me improve for my debut in the NPC competition, which resulted in me placing 1st in my age group, and 2nd overall.

I was reminded that day, that success is on the other side of commitment!

Commitment to consistency is key

Train yourself NOW, to always finish what you start!

Never stop working on whatever it is you are trying to create, build, change, or manifest into your life. Our entire life is one huge and amazing journey with a thousand different experiences that will turn you into the person you are working to become.

When you stop falling in love with the end result and begin to fall in love with the process of getting there, you will find joy, peace, passion and SUCCESS!

Stop giving up on yourself, procrastinating, complaining and coming up with all the reasons why you can’t do it or it won’t work.

Commit to the process, and start lovingly pushing yourself, and become your biggest motivator so you can become unstoppable!

It’s okay to lead with passion! But you’ve got to follow through with commitment and consistency.

Passion is what gets you started. Commitment is what carries you to the finish line!
